THREE RIVERS
Kaiut + Kora + Sound
Join Thr33 Shelton and Rivers Whittle for a three-week journey weaving movement, stillness, live music, and sound.
Each evening begins with a one-hour Kaiut Yoga practice accompanied by the live sounds of the kora, a 21-string West African instrument. Through sustained shapes, joint exploration, and stillness, we’ll create space to slow down, listen, and reconnect with the body.
From there, settle into a long, spacious śavāsana as Rivers carries us into an immersive sound bath with kora, gongs, singing bowls, and other instruments.
Rivers is a devoted student of music and nature whose primary instrument is the kora, which he studied while living and learning with traditional Griot families in West Africa. His music creates spaces to slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and reconnect with the world around us.
Three Wednesday evenings:
October 5th
October 12th
October 19th
Each evening includes:
• 60 minutes of Kaiut Yoga with live kora
• Extended sound bath + śavāsana
• Space for stillness, listening, and connection
No previous Kaiut Yoga experience is needed. Come for one evening or join us for the full three-week journey.
