What are people saying about us?
“My body does not work well without this method. The doctors that I see cannot believe I have not had an epidural since beginning your classes, I went faithfully every 3-4 months for 2 1/2 years, and they have always told me, ‘Sorry Betsy, it’s just going to get worse.’ Not true-I’m in such a different place than I was.”
“I couldn’t wait to tell you... When I do slow walks or stand, within 30 minutes my left leg gets numb, and I can’t feel the leg. When this happens, I have to stop and sit. Today, I walked around downtown for about 2 hours after class, and my leg was surprisingly very fine. First time in 10 years!
Thank you very much.”
“Tucker, I’m so glad that I was moved or pushed to make it to your class last Thursday. I’m now experiencing much-reduced finger joint pain and almost no bilateral knee pain when going up or down steps. It was becoming moderate knee pain while using any steps until this work. Now I feel a spring in my step instead of tight & locked down in lower legs. ...Heck, I’m thinking of becoming a real student of this work! You’ll start seeing me in your classes for sure.”
“I’m stronger than I’ve been in years. I’ve never felt stable running. I think it was due to hyper-mobility. We went on a hike Sunday. Trying to catch up to our daughters, I was very stable, strong, and felt powerful! Scott said it reminded him of how I would leave him behind on the trails in ‘98 when we met. It happened at the beach too! I actually had to run and felt very confident. I know this is because of our work. Thank you, Obi Wan!!!”
“I want to let you know what a huge difference Sunday morning’s class has made on my feet and ankles. I’ve had pain for 5 years. Since class, I’ve had absolutely no pain. It’s been amazing!”
“I recognize that I am at the place in the sequences where I had all kinds of pain/reactions from the poses in my hips, pelvis, and legs last time around. This time it is much different, with pretty minimal challenges presented by my anatomy. I am so thankful to have found Kaiut and have been able to benefit so greatly from your teachings!”
“My recent bone scan showed that the T scores have risen since I had my last scan for osteoporosis two years ago. The only thing I have been doing differently is doing Kaiut. 😊 🤗 Thanks so much!!”
“I love how you’re always finding ways to keep things fresh even in this crazy environment! I continue to feel SO grateful to be able to participate in your class recordings on a regular basis.
It feels like one bit of stability I can count on while the storm is rocking the rest of the boat ”
“I’m so happy to have Kaiut in my life!! Three years in February and I’ve never been more stable in my “loosely-goosey” body! You were right when you told me that first day I wandered in to [your class] that this practice would stabilize my hyper mobility. 🥳
Thank you so much for your guidance and support and clear love for what you are sharing with the world.”
“Last February I had been struggling with running-related knee pain on and off for over a year and had finally decided that short interventions of physical therapy were not what I needed. Instead, I decided that a better plan was to make a long-term commitment to improve my flexibility, strength, and functional range of motion. I feel lucky that I discovered Kaiut and your classes.
This is the first type of yoga that I continued with because I liked it, instead of that it was “good for me.” And much of my enjoyment comes from your teaching style. When you say that Kaiut is for every body, you mean it. There is no expectation of having the body and flexibility of a yogi, and in fact you constantly encourage us to back off when things become too intense. Your commitment to Kaiut, and to a majority elderly clientele, is unusual, yet very appreciated. You are amazing at meeting each student where they are and in helping us all to work with (instead of against) the bodies we currently have. I continue to have many restrictions, but I can feel them slowly dissolve when I am able to practice regularly, even if that practice is solo and through your videos.
So, thank you. Thank you for being who you are, for letting us in to your life story, for teaching amazing and transformational yoga classes, and for making each one of your students feel personally cared for. I hope you know just how special you are. You have a gift for teaching, and I’m thankful to have met you this year.”
