Dive Deep into Yoga
In its collision with the West, much of yoga's intricacies and context were lost, ignored, or supplanted to make it more palatable to its new audience. As practitioners and teachers, it is important to place ourselves within the greater context of yoga as a field of study. Join Tucker Shelton, M.A., E-RYT 500, YACEP and Richard Fabio E-RYT 500 for a deeper dive into the roots of yoga history and philosophy.
In this training, Tucker will play the role of the historian, and Richard will act as the philosopher. Their complementary offerings will show you how to oscillate between holding a broad, open perspective and a deeper, more integrated view on the subjects of yoga history and philosophy.
Graduates of this program will receive 24 contact hours and 3 non-contact hours of continuing education hours for Yoga Alliance.
IN-PERSON
This training will take place in person at Asheville Yoga Center.
